Planning Targets
Well done Abbie - a good and well organised production so far. To achieve a higher band in this part of your coursework you need to evidence a bit more analysis of your chosen genre - trailers, posters and magazines - using key terms. Evidence your journey more by including video diares and video blogs to share your ideas with your readers and followers even more! Evidence your time keeping by showing your key dates for production. Well done.

Zombie Make-up Tutorial.
After watching the zombie makeup tutorial, we found that using the PVA glue looked really effective and it is something that we can do. Amongst us we have the tools to use, such as face paint, makeup, water colour paints. We would have to improvise on some of the stuff that the girl uses as we don't have that. The oil in her hair is really effective as it gives a greasy look to the hair, completing the zombie look. The colours used to make the girls face like a zombie work really well, as they make the girl look dead. The typical colours doing this are blue, white and purple. The green and the red used, will enable us to make the zombie look as if they are infected and have a disease. Overall I think that this make up tutorial was really clear and effective and gave us a lot of new ideas on how they should look like.
I think that the red contact lenses at the beginning are really effective, this is something we could do but we would have to decide nearer the time, depending on who is the zombie in the trailer. Using the latex/ glue was a really clever idea and looks simple to do. We have decided that we are going to get one of Avraj and Richards friend to do the make up for us for our trailer.
